Phoenix M1 Manual Gummed Tape Dispenser
The Phoenix M1 is a hand-operated dispenser for measuring, moistening and cutting water-activated paper tape used to seal corrugated cartons.
No electrical connection is needed. Pull the handle to dispense up to 30 inches of tape in one stroke, or use multiple strokes for longer strips. The M1 accommodates 1½- to 3-inch-wide tape.

Simple, Manual Carton Sealing
The M1 provides measured tape dispensing without a motor, electronic keypad or photo-eye sensor.
Up to 30 Inches Per Pull
Dispense up to 30 inches in a single handle stroke; use additional pulls when a longer strip is needed.
1½- to 3-Inch Tape Widths
Works with common widths of water-activated paper tape, including reinforced gummed tape.
Double Moistening Brushes
Brushes wet the tape adhesive as it passes through the dispensing mechanism.
Steel Construction
A steel body with a baked-enamel finish is designed for use in packaging work areas.
Convenient Utility Top
The top provides space for frequently used packing tools such as markers and carton knives.
How it works
Pull, Cut and Apply
Load the appropriate roll of water-activated tape, fill the water bottle and prepare the moistening system as directed in the operator instructions. Pull the handle to advance the desired length, release to cut, then apply the moistened strip to the carton.
The M1 is an option for lower-volume packaging stations and operations that prefer mechanical dispensing. If you need an electric machine with selectable lengths, compare the Phoenix E1 or the hands-free Phoenix E2.
