Phoenix E2 Electric Eye Tape Dispenser
The Phoenix E2 (PE2) is an electric water-activated tape dispenser with photoelectric, hands-free tape dispensing for carton sealing.
Select the required tape length, then activate the electric eye with a hand movement to dispense tape when needed. This on-demand operation avoids leaving a pre-dispensed strip waiting at the machine.

The E2 combines measured tape dispensing with a photoelectric sensor that can trigger the next strip without pressing a keypad for each cycle.
Measured Tape Lengths
Select repeatable tape lengths for common carton sizes.
On-Demand Operation
Dispense the strip when the operator is ready rather than leaving activated tape exposed while waiting.
Moistening System
Brushes apply water to activate the adhesive before the strip is applied to a carton.
Top Heater
A top heater assists with activating the adhesive on water-activated tape.
Automatic Cutting
The machine cuts the dispensed strip to the selected length.
How it works
Electric Eye Dispensing for Packing Stations
With the Phoenix E2, the operator selects a length for the carton being sealed. When another strip is needed, a hand movement at the photoelectric sensor activates dispensing.
Because tape is dispensed on demand, the operator does not need to leave a wetted strip exposed while finishing another task. The machine feeds, moistens and cuts the tape for application.
